Millie first thought about becoming Mbita MP at age 13. The graduate of University of Nairobi School of Law has worked as a lawyer and women and children rights activist. The CRADLE is one of the MP’s dream come true. She founded the organization that promotes the rights of children since 1997. Millie has received the YWCA Democracy Award and the Eve woman of the year for human rights and gender. Her political tipping point came when she served as a delegate at the Bomas of Kenya, during the constitutional drafting process. Yes, hon. Speaker, Sir, I will not repeat it. All that I just wanted to tell my brother is that I love him with Godly love. Even in Islam and Christianity, people love. In Islam, people love. In Christianity, people love. I do not need that kind of love from him. Hon. Speaker, Sir, I said I only had two points. The second point that I would like to say is in relation to the ICC. All I have heard in this House today is that as Kenya and as an African nation, we are telling the ICC--- We are ...

On a point of order, hon. Speaker. Further to what hon. Kajwang has raised, this House has decided in the past that when an issue has been raised under the article that has been cited, the person who raises the issue must give a copy of the proceedings to inform the House at what stage the matter is, failing which it is presumed that this House is ignorant of the matter and, therefore, it is free to discuss it. Hon. Speaker, if we do not have the proceedings we will not be able to speak to some of the issues ...

Duale looked like he was going to make a joke of it as, indeed, he did. I said that I want you to please give guidance as to my gender in respect of this issue. This is because if you listened to the way the Members have been speaking, the male Members are talking about their need to support the county women

Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker for indulging me. Is it really in order for hon. (Ms.) Sabina Chege to be on Facebook when we are discussing a very serious issue on environmental conservation? At least, I am speaking to the Suba people on fish. We know fish business is very serious business. I am a fishmonger and a serious marketer and promoter of fish. Is she in order to be on Facebook when we are discussing serious issues?
