Millie first thought about becoming Mbita MP at age 13. The graduate of University of Nairobi School of Law has worked as a lawyer and women and children rights activist. The CRADLE is one of the MP’s dream come true. She founded the organization that promotes the rights of children since 1997. Millie has received the YWCA Democracy Award and the Eve woman of the year for human rights and gender. Her political tipping point came when she served as a delegate at the Bomas of Kenya, during the constitutional drafting process. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Can Hon. Ichung’wah declare his interest in this matter? To the best of my knowledge, information and belief, the gentleman he is talking about is not his constituent and he is not from Kenya. Why the personal interest in a person who is not his constituent? Can he declare his interest? We have information that that is his business partner.
