I want to tell the young men and women sitting up there that when we were at the university which was not too long ago, we did not have differences amongst us depending on where one came from. It is unfortunate that once we leave the university, we start imposing some of those differences which are really artificial. However, the Chairperson of NHIF is a presidential appointee, and the trend in this country is that rejected politicians or retired civil servants are posted to chair some boards. When someone has retired from the Civil Service, what other incremental value is he going to bring into these boards? We have to look at the composition of parastatal boards.
