The approval for the people we are talking about is provided for in Article 245. Article 245 is talking about the approval of Parliament. Parliament is defined in the Article that my good friend read, Article 86. If you look at Article 93 at page 63, it reads: “There is established a Parliament of Kenya, which shall consist of the National Assembly and the Senate. The National Assembly and the Senate shall perform their respective functions in accordance with this Constitution”. ... view

I want to kindly request you to look at page 95 of the Constitution, which deals with Part III – Cabinet. I understand the point that was raised to relate to Cabinet Ministers. You will notice that, that is where the Cabinet is described. Article 152(2) says: “The President shall nominate and, with the approval of the National Assembly, appoint Cabinet Secretaries”.
