Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 14 of the Bill be amended in subclause (3) by deleting the words ―any of the following‖ appearing immediately after the words ―level in‖ in paragraph (b). We are just removing the words ―any of the following‖ because it is an ambiguity.

Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended by deleting clause 15 and substituting therefor the following new clause 15 – ―15. (1) The Authority may appoint such staff as are necessary for the performance of its functions under this Act. (2) The staff appointed under subsection (1) shall serve on such terms and conditions of service as the Authority may, in consultation with the Salaries and Remuneration Commission, determine‖.
