For example, if a female employee gets maternity leave of three months and then one month later, she adopts a child and also claims a paid adoption leave of three months; I think this is something that will be open to abuse. The non-payment of Kshs6,324,030 was occasioned by the fact that the employees did not perform the job to the satisfaction of the management.
