  • 8 Mar 2022 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker for the opportunity to add my voice to condemning this misbehavior by young people, who ferry passengers and go by the distinction boda bodas. We know how important boda boda is to our society. It has bridged the gap of transporting people and movement from one point to another. We also know that criminal elements are having a strong hold over the management and behavior of boda boda persons. It is unfortunate that in Kenya, just because an accident has occurred occasioned by whosoever, you will find young persons attacking a lady or a person. ... view
  • 8 Mar 2022 in Senate: Madam Temporary Speaker, the law enforcement which ensures that justice is administered in accordance with the law should ensure that boda boda victims of road accidents access justice. • 14 Jul 2021 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I am just touched by the non-access to justice by our people in Kericho County. I would like to inform Sen. Murkomen, if he agrees to be informed. view
  • 14 Jul 2021 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. It is true he is a very good teacher on international transactions and he taught me very good law. As far as the Judiciary believes in their independence, they must create a platform for judicial accountability. It does not mean they are not autonomous when making judicial decisions, it means they must be accountable to the general public of Kenya, by telling the people of Kericho County how and when they will get justice. We are not asking them as an institution that they must decide cases in a particular way. However, they must tell ... view
  • 16 Jun 2020 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. In our Standing Orders, it is very clear that we are not allowed to raise frivolous or irrelevant points of order. If you allow persistent interjections from anybody in the guise of a point of order, we will not get to the gist of this matter. I want to implore you to strictly enforce the Standing Orders that will allow us, in an orderly fashion, to carry out the Business of this House. view
