We are in the 21st Century and we continue seeing modernization of roads. However, we are yet to see parts of roads that are designated for cyclists, pedestrians and PWDs. • 10 Sep 2019 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I want to say that I spoke to the Majority Leader yesterday, he told me about the importance of this Bill. I totally buy the notion that this is a very important Bill. However, it is a constitutional matter that requires unanimity and carrying along everybody. If the mood as I see is that Members want a little more time to walk together with the Senate Majority Leader, that is a request that is not unreasonable and it is a request that we should all support. • 8 Aug 2019 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Implementation of functions must necessarily and deliberately be funded. If there is no funding, functions of an organisation technically and constructively grind to a halt. Unfortunately, this is the situation that is obtaining in counties. My observation is that the national Government continues to draw from a questionable Appropriation Act, conscious of the fact that it is not anchored on legislation and is probably administrative. I am glad that the Chairperson of Committee on Finance, Commerce and Budget has identified this priority. He should take the initiative and get in touch with the Office ... view

I generally understand that disability is made worse by marginalization. The topic about women in the country is also made worse because of marginalization.
