Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I stand to support the appointment of Immaculate Kassait as a Data Commissioner in this country and I congratulate her for the appointment. In addition, going by her experience and education, I think she has the wherewithal to be a data commissioner and to be the first person to start this work in this country. We wish her well as she does this work. As it may be, I think the report from the KPMG was a shade on her ability to withstand political storms as she tries to manage data in this country. I know ...

I am grateful and thank you very much for giving me this opportunity to support this Motion. I congratulate Hon. Mary Wamaua for this initiative. I urge that she moves it from a Motion to a Bill and bring an amendment in the Civil Registration Act. It will sail through very fast when you bring it in this House.
