  • 28 Oct 2015 in National Assembly: Even if Major (Rtd.) Muiu is sick, he should appreciate that the Commission was fair to him. The only thing is that I do not know why he could not retire so that he goes up to where we have reached. I feel that our Committee did well. It is high time people considered when they are in position whether they are delivering. If they are not able to deliver, they should give way for others to do the job. I support the Committee and the Motion. view

First, I want to thank the Mediation Committee for the work that they have done by bring this Report to this House. I also wish to commend Mhe. Mwaura for what he has said about this Bill. • 20 Aug 2015 in National Assembly: to the farmers as many Members of Parliament have contributed. It is important that this Board starts its work immediately. Agriculture, as some Members have said employs many of our people. It is the only way we can get food security in this country. This Board will have a lot of work to do. The Mediation Committee Report should be taken very seriously. I support this Report as a farmer. If our Government works with this Board, allocates it money and it works efficiently, we will improve agriculture in this country. I support this Bill. view
  • 5 Aug 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity. I want to thank the Committee for this wonderful Bill which is before the House. The Bill is very important and it means a lot to Kenyans. Many Members have spoken and I have appreciated the fact that many of us see the need to raise the economy of this country. This Bill will do much. This country has a big population which is growing year after year. We have many young people who need employment. These young Kenyans should work in their country and develop it. Kenya is ... view
  • 5 Aug 2015 in National Assembly: some money for their living. This country is known. It can manufacture a lot to sell to our neighbours and other African states. This idea is important and has come at the right time. This country wastes a lot of money through misappropriation and mismanagement. We can be assured that if this House becomes strict on the mismanagement of money in this country, we shall have enough money to facilitate our youth, women and also men. We also want to encourage men. We only talk about women and youth. What about men? I still have a lot of knowledge to ... view

I thank the Committee for the good work they have done in coming up with this detailed Report. I am one of the people who worked in the East African Common Services Organisation (EACSO). It is a wonderful thing for all the three countries to come together. It is important because the world is becoming smaller. The coming together of the governments of East Africa gives an extra impetus to our people to enjoy, visit one ... view

  • 8 Jul 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity to support this Motion. It is very timely. This country is undergoing a lot of insecurity because we have a few police officers. At times, it has come when we have officers who have no experience and they are few. This Motion gives us, as a House, an opportunity to find ways so that police officers are trained and, after training, they continue enjoying their work and gain experience as much as possible. view
