Indeed, as I had said, examinations should not be viewed as punishment. We have so many pupils in Standard Eight who sit for exams but they never transit to the next level and this leads to wastage. I feel that if we can allow those who do exams to get to the next level without saying that we are scrapping away K.C.P.E exams, we will be moving education to a higher level.
