  • 9 Jun 2022 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker for giving me this opportunity to contribute. First of all, I want to begin by thanking the people of Sigor Constituency in West Pokot County for giving me an opportunity to serve them in the 12th Parliament. view
  • 9 Jun 2022 in National Assembly: I also commend you for the way you steered this House. From my observation and analysis, I commend you most sincerely for the way you are very firm and fair in what is happening here. You are very impartial. I represent the people of Sigor Constituency in the 12th Parliament. I have raised issues that affect them like insecurity, electricity and Phase III of Weiwei Irrigation Scheme. I also brought issues of landslides, hunger and delocalisation of teachers that have greatly affected the performance of pupils and students in West Pokot County. We have also improved school infrastructure in Sigor ... view
  • 9 Jun 2022 in National Assembly: I also had experience to serve in two committees, namely, the Departmental Committee on Education and Research as well as the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning. I have a lot of experience. I learnt a lot in those two committees. However, I want to use this opportunity to ask the people of Sigor to vote for me once again, so that we can continue the good work that we have been doing. God willing, I believe they will give me another opportunity to serve them in the 13th Parliament. view

It is important to document the history of this House for future generations so that they can follow what has been happening from the time this House was established. It is a good idea and I wish everybody would support it. People coming after us should be able to know our history since the establishment of the House. They should know what has transpired, who was here and the contributions they made that have changed this country thus far. With that, Hon. Temporary Deputy ... view

  • 6 Jul 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for this opportunity. I support this Report on the Consideration of the Public Finance Management Equalisation Fund, Administration Regulations 2021. These regulations ought to have been passed like yesterday. This is because, the rationale for the Equalisation Fund was to provide basic services in marginalised areas so that those areas come as close as possible to the rest of this country. So, since this Fund has a subset close to 20 years and we are left with about nine, it would be very good if we passed these regulations so that we get projects ... view
