On the night of 29th and 30th April 2021, within Bondi Market, a watchman named Kennedy Moret, a Teso male adult aged 55 years who was guarding a wholesale shop owned by Fred Oyia, was hit on the head by unknown people and died on the spot. The attackers broke into the shop and stole iron sheets and other commodities of unknown value. Police visited the scene and investigations were commenced vide Police File No.634/110/2021.
