  • 28 Sep 2017 in Senate: Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, first of all, I thank the Amani National Congress (ANC) for nominating me to the Senate. On the proposed amendments to the electoral laws, I have one question to my brothers and sisters on the other side; why now? We have just come from a General Election which was considered to have been held contrary to the law. Instead of us following that law in the fresh election, we are seeking to change it.
