It is a good thing for us to have this short break to be with members of our families and go to the constituencies to see our brothers and sisters celebrating Eid-Ul-Fitr . Ninasimama kuunga mkono Hoja hii kwa sababu tumeona vile NGCDF ilivyosaidia Wakenya wengi, hasa maendeleo katika maeneo Bunge yetu hapa Kenya. Mahali popote unatembea, lazima utaona jengo lililo na alama ya NGCDF. Hili ni jambo nzuri sana kwa sababu linatuonyesha Wabunge wetu wanatumia pesa hizo kwa njia inayofaa. Lingekuwa jambo zuri pia ikiwa kaunti zingeiga mfano wa NGCDF ili magavana wetu wasiwe wanaambiwa saa zote wazitumie zile senti bali wawe na kamati ambayo itatoa mipango ya vile zile pesa zinaweza kutumika. It is important that we know the exact period of time instead of just putting the word “regularly”. So, doing it after every three years will be good enough for every Kenyan to understand. It is a requirement in our Constitution that the President has to address the Republic of Kenya. I will talk on corruption scandals and incompetence in our institutions. We needed to hear much more on issues of corruption. Yes, it is not the President who tells people to engage in corruption but he needed to address this issue so that the people being involved can be arrested so that they are out of our society. Just listen to them because by listening, you pick the issues they have so that you can sit on the table and see how you can solve them. So, it is very important that we listen to one another. Let us listen to what the Government is talking about and let the Government also listen to what the Opposition is talking about. That way, they can sit down and address those issues so that next time they come, they will tell us the state of the nation--- view
