We had this discussion, the Minister read us a letter that he had written to the Governor of Central Bank of Kenya and the Speaker made a ruling. • 6 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: I stand guided, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I do not want to discuss him. I just want to discuss the Press Conference he held yesterday where he mentioned our names and the money we received. It is for this reason that I am saying that I will be very glad to be thoroughly investigated by the Powers and Privileges Committee upto the point where I moved the amendment yesterday. Not being a lawyer, I would then seek further direction from you because what I am aware of is that the ruling on the issue of County Commissioners was that they are in place illegally. The Attorney-General who sits in this House gave advice to the Government not to appeal that decision. The Minister, in his personal capacity, has then gone to court to appeal this matter.
