29 Nov 2006 in National Assembly:
Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to thank the Assistant Minister for that answer. However, unless we ask Questions here, this Government does not take action in rehabilitating our institutions. The Assistant Minister has said that the Government has allocated money for the rehabilitation of all police stations in the country. If you go to police stations, you will find that there are no toilets up to now. Could he tell this House when the Government is going to be serious and rehabilitate all police stations? If you visit police stations now, you will find that there are no ...

29 Nov 2006 in National Assembly:
Could the Assistant Minister talk about water. When are they going to make sure that the flow of water in those police stations continues now that they have allocated such an amount of money? It has taken ten years for this country to know that there is no water in the police stations.

23 Nov 2006 in National Assembly:
This company is known for sacking and not paying its workers. It has been employing and sacking workers without paying them for five years. Some of the workers have been there for up to 15 years. What is the Minister doing about it? I have been going to his office to talk about the issue. Right now, most companies in the Industrial Area employ people and close down before paying them. 22 Nov 2006 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thank the Minister for that answer. However, I believe in sports, it is not good to create enemies. Right now, our country has created an enemy known as FIFA. Through dubious administrators in sports in this country--- The Minister has agreed that one of our administrators is the one who is controlling--- In fact, one day, I heard him on radio, and even saw him on television, saying that: "This guy calls me at night and he tells me off". What will he do to such people who are trying to ensure that football in this ...

22 Nov 2006 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, as Capt. Nakitare said, Kangundo is very close to Nairobi. If you happen to have driven to Kangundo in the recent past, you must have come across only one road block on the Nairobi-Kangundo Road. As I speak, that road block is no longer there. Could the Assistant Minister tell the House when the police will erect two more road blocks on that road - one near Nairobi and another one near Kangundo - so that the criminals who operate between Nairobi and Kangundo can be tackled immediately?

16 Nov 2006 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, this Government does not know what it is doing. They issued the mamluki with national identity cards. That is a shame on the part of the Assistant Minister.
