  • 29 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I have said the same. The cheque has already been prepared. Our Ambassador in the UAE is able and capable of transmitting this cheque to Nairobi, but he needs express authority or the power of attorney from the lawyer, a Mr. Mazrui, in Kenya, so that this cheque could be transmitted to the family. view
  • 29 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: This money must be given to the right beneficiaries. I believe that if the lawyer was to talk to our Ambassador in the UAE and agree, then this cheque can be made available immediately because there is no outstanding issue on the matter. view
  • 29 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the statements were actually two; one by hon. Linturi and the other one by hon. Shebesh, but they are not in the House. view
  • 28 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, in the last two weeks, two requests have been made and I thought I could clear with them. view
  • 28 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the first request was made by hon. Shebesh and the second request was made by hon. Linturi, who has just walked out. Maybe I could deal with the one by hon. Shebesh. view
  • 28 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Much obliged, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. view
  • 22 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. It will take less than 30 seconds. I was going to issue a Statement on a matter involving Shelter Afrique but we encountered a problem because we did not receive adequate information from the State Law Office, which has promised that we will receive the information tomorrow in the morning. I have promised my colleague, hon. Shebesh Wambui, that the Statement will be issued appropriately tomorrow afternoon or as the House may see fit. view
  • 22 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Yes, Mr. Speaker, Sir. view
  • 22 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, my apologies. Technology is confusing me a bit. I should be able to discuss this with my Minister and most likely, we will relay the message to the Prime Minister’s Office. view
  • 22 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Yes, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I will do that. view
