The chief of Muksero Location, where I am the Member of Parliament, is actually a member of the Luo community who, fortunately, is able to speak both Kisii and Luo. Thirdly, Muksero Location happens to be a community where there is cross-border intermarriage. The two communities have lived, worked and trade together happily. (a) The analysis of the staffing position at Shelter Afrique indicates that out of the total number of 42 members of staff who work for Shelter Afrique, 17 are foreigners and 12 of them come from African countries; 25 are Kenyans.
