Temporary Deputy Chairman, sub-clause (2) says that the body may issue to a counsellor or psychologist who has applied in the prescribed form, a licence to practise on “his”--- This is also not being gender sensitive. (a) in sub-clause (1) by inserting the expression “for the duration between the first day of January and the last day of December” immediately after the word “year”; The committee saw the need to specify the period of validity of the license. (b) in subclause (2) by deleting paragraph (b); the committee felt that the provision was too punitive to the professionals; (c) in subclause (2) by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (d)— “(e) payment of annual subscription fee for the current license period.” This is to cure the deletion of paragraph (b).
