I think it will be wrong to let the Member get away with it because Article 245(2) of the Constitution of Kenya reads: “The Inspector –General is appointed by the President with the approval of Parliament.” I do not know which Constitution he is reading; this is the Constitution of Kenya. view

The section he is referring to, which is Article 246(3)(a), talks about the Commission and it reads:- The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposes only. Article 245(2)(a) talks about the appointment of the IG, which I think are two different things. view

The time provided is adequate because all of us come from diverse backgrounds. Ten minutes for each Member is adequate enough because, in addition to what is in the report, one will be able to look at its relevance both in the Kenyan context as well as in the context of one’s constituency. view
