There have also been cases of rallies where people come closer together without masks. I think it is good for us to be reasonable that we can allow people to consult without necessarily touching or having a way of transmitting the virus to each other.   • 16 Feb 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I join you and Parliament to convey my condolences to the family of Senator Haji and also the family of our colleague, Hon. John Oroo. I met Senator Haji on several occasions, more so in the gym. He would come there for massage and little exercises. He would not assume anybody. He used to talk to most of us, especially the younger generation, and give us advice. He was a very courteous gentleman, one whom I would say was a good human being.   • 16 Feb 2021 in National Assembly: was a sad day. It was not a very good experience especially because of those who write on social media. It is good to have control to a certain extent. Hon. Speaker, the late Sen. Haji was the Chair of the BBI. His death tells us that we should do things for posterity and not just for ourselves. Let us do it for the future generations because we are passing by. Our time will come and we shall all leave. However, let us make a document that will endure time. I thank you, Hon. Speaker. view

Unfortunately, these evictions have happened even in Kitale where businessmen have woken up in the morning and found all their livelihoods destroyed. Yet, we know that Kenya Railways will not put the railway line immediately. It will take time.
