Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, there is nothing wrong with having a huge Recurrent Expenditure. The Government is also a player in the market. This money will be spent in this country. It will, in fact, act as a stimulus to the economy. There is nothing wrong with borrowing money so long as it is used in the most economic and viable manner. The USA has borrowed about US$900 trillion. There is nothing wrong with borrowing, so long as the money is used well.

Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I rise to second the Motion on the Vote of the Ministry of Housing. Let me, first of all, take this early opportunity to thank the Minister, his PS and the staff of the Ministry for a job well done since the Minister was appointed to that Ministry. Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity. I rise to support this Motion on the Vote for the Ministry of Lands. The Minister could not have been taken to a better Ministry. I know most of the people there. His Permanent Secretary used to be the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, National Cohesion and Constitutional Affairs. I also know the Director of Survey and the Commissioner of Lands. They are competent people.

The Minister used to fight in the streets against land grabbers. Now he has been given a kiboko . He should possess all the illegally acquired land. Demolish ...

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I am just wondering how you will verify what is contained in those videos without looking at them. Dr. Khalwale who has watched them says they are full of sexual orgies. I am wondering how you will verify them without looking at the sexual orgies that Dr. Khalwale has talked about. We do not want our Speaker to go through that experience.
