  • 19 May 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, this has been a long journey. Parliament has been seeking for this kind office for a long time. • 7 May 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I stand to support this Motion. We should approve the Chairman and Members of the IIBRC. I say this because we, as a country, need to move forward. There is so much work ahead of us. Time is not on our side. Time is running out. I wish to take this very early opportunity to thank the Chairman and his team for the wonderful and marvelous work that they have done in interviewing more than 1,000 candidates that had applied. The reason why it has taken so long is because they wanted to be thorough. ... view
  • 6 May 2009 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I rise under Standing Order No.82, which requires somebody to either substantiate or to withdraw. My colleague, Maj-Gen. Nkaisserry, has referred to the comment that was made by both Messrs. Ethuro and Letimalo concerning the Government being murderous. Since we cannot allow that blank labeling of the whole Government, could they substantiate who the thieves and the murderer are in this incident? view
