Section 16 is on the membership of the society. Section 17 is on the chairperson of the society. Section 18 is on the functions of the society. Section 19 is on the Council of the Society, committee and membership of the Council and so on. There are two parts. There is part (b) of the society and a part (c) of the council that was retained. view

• 25 Oct 2018 in National Assembly: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended – (j) in the proposed amendment to section 23(a), by deleting the words “a masters” and substituting therefor the words “a diploma” (k) in the proposed amendment to section 23(b), by deleting the words “a masters” and substituting therefor the words “a diploma” These amendments seek to eliminate the requirement of a master’s degree for eligibility of registration as a counsellor or psychologist. This is because the education qualification for counsellors and psychologists starts at diploma level. The holders are entitled to be registered under the Act. view
