  • 18 Aug 2016 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I was making a proposal to the Chair of the Departmental Committee. view
  • 18 Aug 2016 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I was proposing a further amendment on New Clause (1)(e). I do not know whether the Chair of the Committee can take it up. The Director-General of the Authority shall be an ex-officio member and Secretary to the Board. I request him to look at that. Thank you. view
  • 2 Aug 2016 in National Assembly: I support the amendment because that word is more appropriate especially in forests because we are conserving our environment. I want to applaud the Senate for coming up with this appropriate word. view
  • 2 Aug 2016 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. As I support, I want to agree with the Chair that the Senate is doing a good job in editing these clauses. • 27 Jul 2016 in National Assembly: be an issue. I recall that when we were vetting the Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya, the issue of his marital status came up. He said he was single by choice. In future, we should not be bringing in the issue of marital status. view
  • 7 Jun 2016 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I support the Chair because the amendment is consequential, as she has said. The word “licensing” is more appropriate than the word “accreditation” which is ad hoc . I support the amendment. view
  • 7 Jun 2016 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I support the Chair because this idea of trying to deny counties, especially the arid ones, access to the Water Trust Fund is wrong. So, I support what the Chair has said. They deserve water, particularly, areas which are water deficit. view
  • 7 Jun 2016 in National Assembly: THAT, Clause 117 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (1) by deleting the words “which shall be a subordinate court as provided under Article 169(1)(d) of the Constitution”. view
  • 4 May 2016 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I support the Chairman of the Committee because this amendment is very critical. The name and details of the land owner should appear on the register. I support. Thank you. view
