To stop the practice and prevent unsuspecting patients from suffering side effects, the Ministry, through the Pharmacy and Poisons Board has taken the following measures. view

  • 30 Jun 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Ministry of Medical Services through the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, the drug regulatory authority in Kenya, has heard anecdotal reports that the adulteration of medicines in the market mainly by herbalists where conventional medicines are added to the herbal concoctions to enhance effects. This is very common with our men. They believe that if they take the concoctions, they will get good results. view

However, we have been able to get the said drugs which we have tested in our laboratories. view
