Thank you my Chair for Roads, Transport and Housing, for being gracious enough to allow me to inform you. The only reason the discussion is centred about the presidential election is because, the NADCO Report had a history and that was the dispute that was brought to the national table. If, indeed, there was any dispute in any other matter, it was not part of those negotiations and I can confirm this because I was part of the initial committee. nine-year old child who drowned following flash floods in Mashimoni, Kibra Constituency, Nairobi County, on 5th January, 2024, and whose body is yet to be retrieved after being swept into the Nairobi Dam. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Detail the actions taken by the disaster response authorities and the national security personnel in the area to facilitate the recovery of Master Iboshe's body and hand it over to his family for a decent burial. (2) Outline targeted long-term strategies and actions that will be implemented to prevent similar tragedies in the future. I thank you.
