• 7 Oct 2010 in National Assembly: The Government has posted a District Development Officer (DDO) to Mutito District. Nzambani District is yet to get a DDO, a Procurement Officer and a Human Resources Officer. Arrangements are at an advanced stage with the Treasury, the Directorate of Personnel Management, and the Ministry of Planning, National Development and Vision 2030 to fill the vacancies in Nzambani and Mutito districts. In the mean time, the two districts will continue to receive these professional services from Kitui Central District. view

I believe that there is a reshuffle going on right now. I can raise the matter with the Chief Executive of the CDF Board. view

Members that, indeed, the Treasury, which is the implementing agency for the scheme of service for Procurement Officers, has advertised the positions. I believe that within the next one month, not only shall we be able to fill up the vacancies in his constituency, but also those in the rest of the country.
