22 Dec 2010 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, could the Prime Minister confirm or deny that we do not have an operational forensic laboratory and that is why we had to engage the FBI to investigate the grenade attacks at Eastleigh and Githurai? Could he also confirm that most of the crimes committed have not been resolved as a result of not having a forensic laboratory?

Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like to know from the Minister, because he never mentioned my name. I would like to know if, indeed, my name is on the list that he has because my name was never mentioned by the Minister.

22 Dec 2010 in National Assembly:
On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I did ask the Minister to confirm if, indeed, my name is in his list. As he said, the documents have not been admitted; my name and that of hon. Wamalwa appear on a document which has not been treated by this Parliament as a proper document. I demand an apology for that.

15 Dec 2010 in National Assembly:
On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. This is not the first time a Member of Parliament has been manhandled by the police. Recently, I was teargased and my shirt smelt of teargas. Hon. Wamalwa was teargased as well. This is a trend that has been going on with the police. Considering that we are in a new constitutional dispensation, this is a matter that should be discussed urgently. It should come to the House tomorrow.

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, what long-term measures has the Assistant Minister taken to recover the grabbed public utility plots especially for hospitals, schools and fire stations? What long-term measures has he put in place in order to stop land grabbing in this country because most of the land grabbers even after the cancellation of the title deed rush to court to stop this?

9 Dec 2010 in National Assembly:
On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I rise under Standing Order Nos. 81, 82 and 97. I have risen very many times on points of order and you have always told me to go and read the Standing Orders so that I can understand them. Today, I can authoritatively stand before the House and tell you that I have understood the Standing Orders. I would like the hon. Member who raised that Question to state if he has any interest in the said Question. Under Standing Order No.82, I have documents which link this hon. Member to the ...
