  • 5 Mar 2020 in Senate: Yes, I agree that there are issues that need to be resolved as far the police force is concerned because they too need to have better services. At the same time, we cannot and must not combine the two issues. These are two separate issues that should not in any way lead to one justifying the other. It seems that many youth are falling victim to these extrajudicial killings in Nairobi City and Mombasa County. Today, Rwanda and Bolivia have reached the top of the IPU ranking of women in parliament through laws on affirmative action that have allowed them to achieve gender parity.
