Tiyah Galgalo Ali

She was the first girl from Isiolo County to study upto form six.

She is also the founder of the Foundation for Kenyan Women Pastoralist which lobbies universities to admit girls from disadvantaged communities for prestigious courses.

It is important that we rank schools as per the categories available. We have private schools, national schools and Government schools. I think it is important that we rank them according to their specific categories. view

It is important that students and teachers are evaluated, so that we can know whether teachers should be promoted or not. It is also important for the students to have a spirit of competition. If there is no ranking, the spirit of competition is killed and many of the students do not even know where they belong or where their intellectual capacity falls. view
