We now have drought not only in Ukambani but in the whole of Kenya. It is time we went back to our areas and constructed dams before the rains come, so that we are able to tap water from our rivers. We have a lot of work to do. view

(a) I am aware that the murram running track, the VIP dais, the soccer pitch and the spectators' terrace at Kamariny Stadium in Iten, Keiyo District, were constructed in the 1950s and are in a poor state. I am, however, not aware that the stadium is not in a usable condition. (b) The Ministry has not provided any amount of money in the Financial Year 2008/2009 for the improvement of this stadium.
