Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, while we appreciate the answer given by the Assistant Minister, I note with concern that the answer tries to portray that NEMA is the one that is responsible for the management of wetlands. If we read the EMCA, it is very clear. It says that NEMA is there to co-ordinate environmental issues and not to implement the issues. So, I would like to hear from the Assistant Minister whether this law has been amended and when it was amended. On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. The NEMA is not an implementing agency. It is a co-ordinating agency. So how come the Assistant Minister says that wetlands are managed by NEMA?
