You could use the necessary Standing Order to defer it and let us ventilate. We have a lot to talk about as we wait for the numbers. view

• 15 May 2013 in Senate: Madam Temporary Speaker, indeed, looking at the document that has been tabled here today, Kiambu is number two on the list of the best endowed areas in this country, having 909.8 kilometres of tarmac road, which is about 7.1 per cent. It is second only to Nairobi, which is 10.3 per cent. Look at Nyamira, Busia, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Migori, Samburu, Tharaka Nithi, Isiolo, Garissa, Wajir, Marsabit, Lamu, Mandera and so on, what do you see? Those are the marginalized areas of Kenya. Ali Abdi Bule to be appointed to these committees and be approved by this House. In the Motion moved by the Senate Majority Leader, he introduced issues that cannot go undebated. We chose Sen. (Dr.) Kuti as our Chairman and we gave him all the nine votes. He is not a Member of my party but we thought he was fit for that position.
