  • 6 Jul 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I said that 1886 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES July 6, 2006 the following Papers will be laid on the Table of the House today, Thursday, 6th July, 2006. They are bulky. Those Papers will be laid on the Table before the end of this sitting. view
  • 21 Jun 2006 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. You gave an order to the hon. Member to desist from continuing with the subject. You actually ordered him to withdraw. He has insisted. Can you then take action? view
  • 3 May 2006 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. In view of the importance of this Motion, could you allow the Mover to come to the Front Bench? view

  • 3 May 2006 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Denying Dr. Machage a chance means denying a chance to 100 per cent of the representation of the Kuria people in this House. view
  • 3 May 2006 in National Assembly: I support the Motion. The CDF has revolutionalised the marginalised areas in this country; my constituency being one of them. Indeed, we have seen funds pushed to the marginalised areas that have never been seen since Independence. In the last two and a half years, my constituency has received slightly over Kshs65 million for its development projects. Indeed, 97 projects that have addressed mainly issues of education and health have adequately been promoted. Hon. Members have shown that they can adequately utilise this facility with their committees. There is a lot of development, not only in Kuria, but generally in ... view
  • 25 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for that elaborate and wise explanation of the situation. Indeed, we are faced with the issue of deciding whether money that is not due to Parliament, or money that Parliament should not handle or pay, is to be paid out by it. That bit is painful to Parliament. If the Minister for Finance has looked at his own Budget and thought it wise that this money be moved to his Ministry, there is nothing wrong with that. Therefore, I do not see the necessity of even thinking of an amendment to this amendment to move ... view
  • 19 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Ahsante sana, Bw.
