My Ministry, through the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has removed all the illegal bumps. The Ministry is doing everything possible to minimize accidents on our roads and where we have identified that bumps will lead to reduction of the accidents, we shall not hesitate to do so. • 6 Jun 2012 in National Assembly: I had effectively executed the answer except for one part where you instructed that I quote the amount of money that my Ministry had requested Parliament to approve for this project. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. My Ministry through the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has set aside Kshs24 million for the periodic maintenance of the Kyuluni-Mwitika Road, otherwise referred to as C96, in the proposed Budget for the Financial Year 2012/2013. • 6 Jun 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, Ngai Ndethya is part of this road but since the Member wants to get specifics, I talked about Kshs3.5 million that had been set aside for the repair of this road. Actually, there is a balance of Kshs6.1 million still to be used on this road and the work is in progress. view

Apart from the Kshs6.1 million that we are going to spend on the same road, we have requested Parliament to approve Kshs24 million for the purpose of the whole road; part of it will be spent on the Ngai Ndethya area. view
