Mr. Speaker, Sir, indeed, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya delivered his Statement for the year during the State Opening of this House this Session. Among the issues he outlined was the need for togetherness and, especially so in the dispensation of the new Constitution, amongst other issues in his Speech.

Mr. Speaker, Sir, wise people always consult, and the wise people of this House consulted for 24 hours or so. Therefore, the list is back to the House the way it was yesterday, but all the same, consultations were done. The only qualification that one needs in order to be in this Committee is to be a Member of Parliament. I believe all Members of this House qualify to be in this Committee, but we cannot.
