Again, it is a question of culture amongst Kenyans, who sometimes do things beyond the imagination of anybody. We expect that as we continue to implement the new Constitution, people will learn to respect each other. view

The big number of prisoners that we have in this country is an indication that investigations carried out by the police have yielded successful results. There may be isolated cases where investigations have not yielded results but I want to assure the House that we will do everything possible to impress upon the police to fast-track investigations and report whether they have been able to catch up with criminals. view
