  • 29 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I said that the journalist did not report to the police. However, on the question of the girl, an inquiry file has been opened. There is a lead investigator, and we hope to catch up with the people who are responsible for the incident. view

The big number of prisoners that we have in this country is an indication that investigations carried out by the police have yielded successful results. There may be isolated cases where investigations have not yielded results but I want to assure the House that we will do everything possible to impress upon the police to fast-track investigations and report whether they have been able to catch up with criminals. view
