• 2 May 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, the other point the Attorney-General has raised, on which I would like a clarification is that I am not aware as the Member of Parliament that there has been a recent influx of refugees into Eastleigh. At no time has our Government designated Eastleigh as a refugee camp. So, I am rather surprised that he describes that there has been a recent influx of refugees that could pose a threat to our national security. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. view

The Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security had said that he would respond to it today. I think it is an urgent matter given what has happened in our city in the last week or so. Therefore, I just wanted to emphasize the urgency and the importance of the matter. view
