  • 8 Jul 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I would like to oppose this Motion. I would like to state that Prof. Kaimenyi comes from my constituency, and I believe he is the right person for the job. One of the Hon. Members talked about arrogance. She said that because Prof. Kaimenyi is arrogant, he may not go to heaven. I believe nobody can judge anybody on whether they will go to heaven or not. The other thing one of the Members talked about is the problem of north eastern. He is placing the blame on Prof. Kaimenyi. Prof. Kaimenyi is on record as ... view
  • 8 Jul 2015 in National Assembly: However, we should get away from personal issues. I know that Prof. Kaimenyi talks with a commanding voice, but that is how he has been brought up and he is a professor; he is not anybody else. He is a learned person. That is the way he talks and communicates. That should not be a reason to say that he is arrogant. He is not arrogant at all. view
  • 8 Jul 2015 in National Assembly: Regarding the Njuri Ncheke issue, this is neither here nor there. There is nothing like a curse. If you believe in a curse, you are not God-fearing. Curses do not work anyway. view

We would be dead but we are not because we believe in God. Since we believe in God, we will be going to Heaven. If you do not believe in God, we will leave you for Satan. Therefore, I oppose the Motion because it is not well thought out. On the laptop project, it is not Prof. Kaimenyi who is delaying it. He wanted to implement it. It was the court which stopped ... view
  • 8 Jul 2015 in National Assembly: talk to the President and the Executive. Maybe, he needs somebody to assist him in that docket, but I think he is the right person for that docket. With those few remarks, I beg to oppose the Motion and request my colleagues to reject it. view

  • 1 Jul 2015 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I have brought this Motion in honour of the girls of Standard Seven and Eight of Loreto Convent, who had an accident in my neighbouring constituency and some girls lost their limps and three of them lost lives. When we went to collect the body of one of the girls, who was a Muslim from the mortuary, the mother had to choose a limp of her daughter from the six or eight hands that were there. We had to see which one would match the girl. If we had an ICU or a blood transfusion centre ... view
