  • 30 Jul 2014 in National Assembly: foreseeable future. All over the world, cases of HIV/AIDS are increasing by the day and we need to tackle that scourge. We have a problem in this country in that most of the donors who have been giving us money for HIV/AIDS programmes are pulling out. Deputy Speaker, the clarification I require from the Chairperson is that she provides us with the list of all the districts and, more so, the primary schools which have received. I think this would help. In Meru County, our County Women Representative has initiated the sanitary pads programme, but I have not heard of anything being done in North Imenti - although there are some private individuals who are doing it. He has said that the person who was gunned down was a suspect. The OCPD is on record saying that it was one J.J. but that J.J. was in a drinking den in Nkubu when he is said to have died two weeks ago in police fire. view
