  • 22 Nov 2016 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, as the Leader of the Majority Party, I work with the Senate through the many messages they send to this House. The Health Bill came back this afternoon from the Senate after being passed a year ago. Both Houses are given 30 days to deal with the production sharing contract and field development contract. This is respecting Parliament in terms of ratification of those documents. This gives the people’s representatives the right to scrutinise contracts and plans taking place in their constituencies and counties. The Senate represents the counties and we represent the people. view
