The Constitution anticipates the deployment of KDF when there is an internal problem like it happened in Tana River, Marsabit, West Pokot and Westgate. The Inspector- General of Police must not lose his command structure. First I would like to thank the Public Investments Committee (PIC) for fast-tracking a lot of the pending workload. I am sure the next Chair of the PIC in the 12th Parliament will have less work because they have covered the backlog that was there when they were elected. Hon. They have dealt with the matter of land and building which they have observed with a lot concern that several State corporations do not possess title deeds and relevant documents for the buildings and land that they own.
