Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for this opportunity. Mine is to request for a confirmation from the Cabinet Secretary. Does SHA cover mental health and drug abuse-related issues because that is very common in our villages? Are those people paying for it?

Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, the Cabinet Secretary has already answered that SHA covers that. However, Hon. Barasa, sometimes when we call in order to get interventions from you, that is not possible. Kindly answer our calls because we have issues. For instance, somebody died at Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) in December and we needed your intervention, but we could not get you. Thank God for the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of SHA and KUTRRH who intervened.

Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. There are many suicidal cases in almost all the counties, especially in a sub-county called Mwala in Machakos County. We have lost more than 20 youths by now. This is an illness like any other. I request that whoever will deal with this statement to come up with a strategic plan. Counties must have centres for counselling such patients. These patients should be taken with kindness. They should not be discriminated against either by family members or society in general. There are so many people who are walking normally, but they are suffering mentally. Many ...

and an important person in this country who defended his people and legislated for their well-being. Let me convey my heartfelt condolences to the family of hon. Malulu Injendi and the people of Malava Constituency and Kakamega County as a whole. I am doing so on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Machakos. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the word of God tells us in 2 Corinthians Chapter 5:8, that to be absent in the body is to be before the Lord. Therefore, we are sure that the fallen heroes are with the Lord right now. To ...

Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity. I fully support the names given to work in the SBC. I know they will do a good job. I encourage them like Sen. Mungatana has said, to prioritise the Senate Bills first. This is because when our Bills go to the National Assembly, they are delayed. So, we should also prioritise our Bills here before we deal with the National Assembly's Bills.
