This Bill is completely untimely and it is intended to disrupt the smooth nominations, particularly in some of the proposals that it is coming up with. We have a political parties Act that is able to deal with the issues of elections and nominations going forward. If, for example, they want to cure bad habits like those of ODM denying other parties their money, it cannot be done by the law. It can only be cured through good behaviour. I am properly on the Floor of the House and if you feel you want to curtail the independence, freedom of speech including that of the House, I think we are going in the wrong direction.
