Spika, Swali hili halikuletwa Bungeni kwa sababu mimi, nikiwa Waziri Msaidizi, 2596 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES August 3, 2006 ninatoka katika Mkoa wa Pwani. Swali hili limeletwa Bungeni kwa sababu linahusu Jamhuri yote ya Kenya. Ninaamini kwamba tumelijibu Swali hili tukizingatia kwamba, shule za mabweni ziko kila mahali nchini, na kwamba mapendekezo yaliyotolewa na Tume iliyobuniwa kuchunguza janga la moto katika shule hiyo yatawasaidia wasimamizi wa shule, na wahusika wengine, kuhakisha kwamba mkasa kama huo hautokei tena katika Jamhuri yetu. view

Suroor made a complaint to the Provincial CID Headquarters in Mombasa, alleging that he had been kidnapped in Mombasa and eventually abandoned in Nairobi. An Inquiry File No.19/2003 and not No.5/2003 was opened. Investigations were carried out and upon completion, the file was forwarded to the State Counsel Office in Mombasa vide letter Ref.CID/POL4/4/7/Vol.23/150 of 12th October, 2004. 2552 (b) I am not aware of any link between the FBI and the alleged kidnapping and torture. • 2 Aug 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I have addressed myself to the issues that were raised by the Question. There was an allegation of an arrest of the victim by the officers. I have said that there is nothing like that. Investigations were carried out and the file was forwarded to the Attorney- General. The verdict was that there was no evidence to prove kidnapping or torture. Therefore, the file was closed. I have no objection to the request by the hon. Member that I should visit Mr. Ahmed. But, as far as the matter stands, that is the way it is. view
