Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have not said that the Members will pass it. I am talking about the instruments that are available for purposes of moving forward because there were some concerns from some Members, including myself, about what happens if we go home without passing the Finance Bill. I was just explaining that we do not stand to lose anything. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, as I indicated on Tuesday, the Minister is on the ground, visiting the areas that have been affected by the floods. I had pleaded with the House that we give her maximum time to be at the points of mitigating the problem rather than come here to issue the Ministerial Statement. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, Mrs. Odhiambo-Mabona has in her own words said the problem is widespread. That exactly tells us that the floods are all over; from the Coast, Western to Nyanza. It is across the entire country. The Minister and her team are trying their best to intervene in several places to ensure that casualties are reduced and assistance is maximized to the people who need it. I would urge the various Members of Parliament whose areas have been affected to try to be with the people and assist them in the mitigation. Let us see what we can ...
