As the Leader of the Majority Party said, we may get into more problems, if we now start interfering with the contractual agreements between the counties, the national Government and the providers of the managed equipment services. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended in the Schedule in the proposed amendments to the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (No. 33 of 2015) – (a) by deleting the proposed amendment to section 167(1); This is a provision that gives an aggrieved party in a procurement process, at least, a minimum of 14 days. The amendment as proposed was reducing the period to seven days.
