Even as it does that, I want to concur with what the Leader of the Majority Party has said. More fundamentally, I would like to say this as an accountant, someone who has been audited and has been involved in the audit processes. I can see my colleague, Hon.   • 16 Nov 2016 in National Assembly: Thank you for that protection. I was drawing your attention to Article 226(4) of the Constitution which clearly stipulates the work of appointing an auditor. The Leader of the Majority Party has alluded to the fact that, that auditor probably could even have been appointed and contracted to do this work. The Constitution is very clear that this is a mandate solely of the National Assembly. I think the drafters of the Constitution are very clear.
